Press Builders is constructing a nine-story mixed-use building in Brooklyn’s prized Clinton neighborhood. The building accommodates 135 rental units, 40 of which will be reserved as affordable units. Beyond the approximately 91,900 square feet of residential space, the structure boasts 6,000 square feet of retail space and a 56-vehicle parking garage. The existing building, previously owned and occupied by Verizon, housed critical, below-grade infrastructure that could not be disturbed. Press Builders worked with city agencies, Verizon and the private parties to execute extensive planning to ensure excavation and construction proceeded without disruption.
